PNGWAV2AVI is a tool for converting a series of PNG files and
a WAV music file to a transparent AVI file.

<< How to use >>

- (1) Prepare a series of numbered PNG files in a new folder.
      (ex. 001000.png, 001001.png, 0001002.png, ...)

  (2) Copy this tool (pngwav2avi-60fps.exe
or pngwav2avi-30fps.exe) into the prepared folder.

  (3) Double click the pngwav2avi-60.exe
       (or pngwav2avi-30fps.exe).

This tool automatically starts converting the PNG files
  to a combined AVI file.
If "music.wav" file exists in the folder, this tool will
automatically combine the WAV file also to the AVI file.
The name of the AVI file will be "movie.avi".
(The name of the output AVI is fixed.)

<< How to use - details >>

- pngwav2avi-30fps.exe is for generating 30-FPS movies.
pngwav2avi-60fps.exe is for generating 60-FPS movies.

- If the PNG files do not have transparency (i.e., the PNG
files are non-transparent PNGs), the generated AVI will be
a non-transparent AVI file. (uncompressed AVI)

- The "list.txt" file, which is the PNG file name list file
automatically generated with the first movie.avi file,
will be used and referred for re-generating the movie.avi
with double-clicking the pngwav2avi-XXfps.exe again for
the second time or third time.

- If you edit the "list.txt" and delete or invalidate some
of the PNG file names, the deleted or invalidated PNG files
will be skipped and excluded from the output AVI file
  in the re-generated AVI file.

You can mark the PNG files as invalidated files by
attaching '//' (double-slash) mark at the top of the PNG
  file names as
     001000.png
     001001.png
     // 001002.png
     001003.png
         :
The invalidated files are just skipped in the re-generated
  AVI file.

You can exchange one of the PNG files to another PNG file
by rewriting the name of the PNG file in the list.txt, as
     001000.png
     001001.png
     001002-mod.png
     001003.png
         :
(modified png file 001002-mod.png will be used instead of
   the 001002.png.)

<< Supported OS versions >>

  OS: Windows 8, 8.1, 10, and 11. (x32, x64)
RAM: 64MB or more (not Giga)

- This tool is a Windows 95 compatible software.
- This tool supports ANSI/UTF-16 and UTF-8 on UTF-8 mode on
  Windows 10/11.

- Norton Sonar (by NortonLifeLook Inc.(formerly Symantec))
has been found to detect this tool as a "unknown executable
file" and automatically delete it, even if the executable
file is not infected and free from viruses.
In that case, check and re-scan the executable files
(pngwav2avi.exe) again with the manual scan in the Norton.
If the result of the re-scan shows "no infection" and
clarified it to be clean from viruses, please "Recover" and
"Exclude" the .exe file from the scan in the "Process" menu
  in the Norton.

- Windows Defender Smartscreen, which is similar to Norton
Sonar, was reported to cause incorrect malware warnings
on Windows 10/11 24H2 and later.
In that case, check and re-scan the executable files
(pngwav2avi-XXfps.exe) again with the manual scan by
